The UEFA Conference League, previously named the UEFA Europa Conference League until the 2024–25 season, is a yearly football tournament. Chiefly, it is arranged by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for qualifying European football clubs. Consequently, it is considered the third level of continental club football in Europe. In other words, following the UEFA Europa League in the second tier, and the UEFA Champions League in the first tier.
The Conference League has introduced an exciting new format, particularly in the group stage, which will now consist of a single League stage with 36 teams. Each team will face six different opponents—three matches at home and three away. The top eight teams will move straight to the round of 16, while those finishing from ninth to 24th will enter the knockout round play-offs, with the winners advancing to the last 16. Play-offs: 21 & 28 August 2025 (Draw: 4 August).
The qualifying rounds for the UEFA Conference League for the 2025/26 season kicked off on 8 July and will conclude on 28 August.

Champions Path: 8 (six victors from the Conference League’s second qualifying round Champions Path. Also, along with two teams that lost in the UEFA Champions League’s first qualifying round).
Main Path: 52 (44 winners from the second qualifying round Main Path, plus eight teams that were eliminated from the UEFA Europa League’s second qualifying round Main Path).
